We are seeking 1 energetic and experienced after-school instructor to join our team! If you are looking for rewarding, fun, part time work that helps students catch up and develop a love of learning, read on! Eager Enrichment provides you with all the supplies, training, and curriculum to help you create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, loves working with Legos, Knex, and has a passion for children!
Projects for the students never repeat; classes are limited to 20 for more one on one attention.
This is part time, afternoon work. Classes run at the elementary school, after school, for one hour, once a day. If you are looking for more than 4 hours a week, this job is not for you. Classes begin in January and go through May, with school holidays like Presidents Day and Spring Break off. We're high profile, top quality, and prefer folks working on/ with a college degree and 1-2 years' experience working with children. Want to become a teacher in a school? This position teaches classes in the Gahanna-Jefferson elementary schools.
Locations & Times
Our Gahanna position:
- Eager Engineers: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 2:35pm-3:55pm; Wednesday 2:30pm- 3:45pm
Qualifications:
- Previous experience teaching is preferred, but not required
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be available at 2:35pm om Mondays, Tuesday, Thursday and 2:30pm on Wed
Must be willing to do a background check, at our expense
