Lift Technician Description
Eagle Ambulance is looking for Lift Technicians to add to our team of medical professionals. This position will work with a team of two Emergency Medical Technicians to travel in a company vehicle to various medical facilities and assist lifting bariatric patients. We are looking for strong individuals wih a desire to learn. As a Lift Technician, you will be taught proper lifting and patient movement techniques. This is a great position for anytone looking to get a firsthad look at the medical field, and'or EMergency Medical Services.

Requirements
Job Requirements
- Be a minimum 18 years of age
- Must be able to frequently lift 100 pounds unassisted and to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid California Driver's License
- Possess a valid and current American Heart Associate BLS Provider Card
- Driving Record must be acceptable to our insurance
- Current Immunization Records (TB Test within the past year, DTap, Hep B, and MMR)
- Customer service experience a plus
Physical Requirements
- Walk - frequently, up to 4 hours per day.
- Run - infrequently, 1-2 minutes per day.
- Stand - frequently, up to 2 hours per day.
- Sit - frequently, up to 8 hours per day.
- Kneel - frequently, 10-15 times per day.
- Bend - frequently, 10-15 times per day.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry 250 lbs. infrequently (1-3 times per shift)
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry 150 lbs. frequently (5-10 times per shift)
- Must have ability to step up and/ or climb over obstacles.
- Must be able to climb stairs while carrying up to 150 lbs.
Each potential candidate will go through an extensice background process and lift test. Failure to pass either will result in removal from hiring process
