Verantwortlichkeiten: Eagle Bend Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and driven Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and oversee the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge manufacturing processes. This individual will play a pivotal role in delivering on-time and within-budget program launches that meet or exceed established business plan objectives. Responsible for quality and conformance of product to customer specifications per control plans Who we are looking for: 10 years’ experience required Project management experience in automotive product design and manufacturing preferred Automotive component purchasing or sales abilities preferred but not required RESPONSIBLE Oversee the implementation, and follow-up of the Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities of the Engineering department in a timely and cost-effective manner Manage Cosma Program Management Process (CPMP) by evaluating program budgets and feasibility; monitor timelines for all programs and ensure Quality System standards are maintained at each gate Lead Program Managers to develop cross-functional teams to coordinate launch activities and manage ongoing engineering changes for existing customer programs Lead Manufacturing Engineers, Process Engineers, and Industrial Engineers in support of both new and existing customer programs and plant layouts Provide support to Eagle Bend’s Skilled Trades (Maintenance team and Tool & Die team) as they provide service to all manufacturing processes Supervise Continuous Improvement personnel and ensure the program meets Eagle Bend business objectives for cost-reduction and customer givebacks Interface with Vehma Engineering and design personnel during product development and program launch activities Apply World-Class Manufacturing techniques and Continuous Improvement to Engineering functions including Engineering Change Notices (ECN’s) Support Business Development team with quoting activities in line with the Business Plan to secure Eagle Bend’s future Interface with customers’ purchasing, quality, and engineering personnel Maintain good working relationships with Cosma sales representatives and customers’ buyers EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree or greater in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Design or related area of study) CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing) helpful Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes, tool & die making SKILLS/ABILITIES Excellent mechanical/technical abilities Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to handle multiple tasks Excellent organizational and planning abilities Excellent problem-solving ability and a thorough approach toward project management Ability to read, write, speak English Ability to listen and communicate effectively with associates and customers in either individual or group settings Proficiency in PC spreadsheet applications Negotiation skills Ability to work additional hours as needed TRAVEL Frequent travel with overnight stay required BENEFITS Low-Cost Health Insurance Low-Cost Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Matching Employee Profit Sharing Plan Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Parental Leave Nursing Room Tuition Reimbursement and Online Career Development with Free Tuition Referral Program - Up to $1,500 per Skill Trade Referral Onsite cafeteria Serving Hot Breakfast and Lunch Self-Checkout Snacks and Drinks Market Employee Assistance Program Employee Discount Program Annual Employee and Family Events Bewusstsein.
