Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing loss, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Check in guests who arrive late during the weekends
• Provide direction and assistance to any guest in need
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in conflict management situations.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities and reporting them accordingly.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
• Weekends only
