Eagle Brook Church is a multi-site church looking for an organized, relational and skilled Maintenance employee to join our Facilities team. This person is responsible for a wide variety of work related to the overall upkeep and repair of Eagle Brook Church buildings and equipment. They also support the different Ministries with projects, helping with the logistics for events, and working with outside vendors. The Maintenance employee is occasionally involved in custom construction projects as needed and in making overall Improvements to Eagle Brook facilities. POSITION SUMMARY
Provides general maintenance and repairs for Eagle Brook buildings and equipment that are used to reach people for Christ. Adheres to Eagle Brook’s standards for Facilities and safety. Assists with the logistics for select church-wide events and with outside vendors. Involved in custom construction projects as needed and in making overall improvements to Eagle Brook facilities. Reports to the Property & Logistics Director.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs maintenance tasks at all facilities (including campuses and office spaces) to ensure that upkeep and repairs are being made as needed
- Performs general maintenance tasks to keep buildings operational and equipment in good working order
- Responds to a variety of service tickets involving repairs, installation, and service for all department
- Works with the Facility Managers, Pastors of Campus Operations, and HVAC service provider to ensure proper maintenance of equipment
- Assists in determining the need for professional repair services and supports logistics for these projects
- Repairs and paints damaged walls
- Constructs walls and shelving as needed
- Replaces burned out lights and ballasts
- Performs minor repairs on Facilities’ vehicles and machinery
- Coordinates maintenance related logistics of special events such as indoor and outdoor Baptism
- Supports Central ministry teams with projects as assigned
- Coordinates and directs maintenance volunteers
- Assists with transportation of equipment and various items from site to site
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 4 years) required
- 1 years of experience in building, plumbing and electrical trades
- 1 years of experience leading volunteers and coordinating departmental work/activity
- Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefs
- Effective communication skills; written, verbal and interpersonal
- Ability to work effectively with all levels in organization, both staff and volunteer
- Physical ability for operating a variety of equipment, including construction equipment
- Mechanical aptitude for operating and trouble-shooting all types of equipment
- Lifting and loading ability, weight to vary
- Possess excellent trouble shooting ability to diagnose and fix problems, or to assist outside contractors
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to be flexible with job duties and effectively prioritize workload
- Self-motivated and able to stay focused on completing tasks in a timely manner

- Salary Range: $20.00-$23.00

- Workdays: Monday-Friday. Occasional weekend work.
