Operations Liaison
Maintains the security and profitability of EBC through accurate assessment of credit risk of prospective and active clients and debtors. Follows internal processes and procedures at all times. Successfully maintains a professional relationship with Sales and Operations to facilitate the closing of new deals and funding of existing clients. Ensures that security interest is always maintained within internal management policies operated by EBC. Provides excellent standards of customer service.
Key responsibilities :
- Reviews initial application file received from prospect or salesperson, requesting additional information as necessary. Liaise with underwriting and operations for acceptability for funding.
- Follows up with prospective clients to obtain required application and supporting documentation.
- Sets up prospect files and maintains and updates with required information.
- Develops effective working relations with sales team to ensure that leads and opportunities are followed up on accordingly.
- Maintains and updates accurate CRM records.
- Requests and reviews Suits, Liens and Judgment and Personal Searches to ensure EBC position not compromised.
- Performs general A / R review to ensure debtor information complete and aging profile supports limits allowed.
- Makes credit management decisions based on credit references and payment performance. Sets discretionary credit limits up to $25,000, assesses invoice eligibility, and makes funding decisions.

- Monitors collateral performance of the allocated portfolio through effective review of available data.
- Manage client debtor credit requests and respond in a timely manner to ensure first class service while maintaining acceptable risk protocols.
- Provides a high level of service whilst maintaining EBC's security interest.
- Awareness of any current economic or industry specific issues that may pose a risk to EBC.
- Seeks to proactively understand prospective clients in order to spot early warning signs.
- Communicates any concerns noted or adverse performance trends with recommendations on how to manage these issues.
- Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
