Resident Position at Eagle Christian Church (ECC)
Position Overview: Eagle Christian Church (ECC) is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Resident for a one-year term from September to August. This unique opportunity offers 30 hours per week of paid employment along with complimentary housing provided by ECC. As a Resident, you will immerse yourself in the vibrant community of ECC, contributing your skills and talents to various aspects of ministry and service. Ultimately, this is a one-year program to further develop your passion for ministry and personal growth. The desired outcome of this program is that you will be desirable and hirable by churches across the US. Our goal is Kingdom ROI, meaning we want to serve the kingdom by equipping future church workers.
Responsibilities:
- Ministry Support: You will assist with various tracks and programs within ECC, including, but not limited to, youth ministry, worship, outreach, and administration. To maximize your growth in church ministry, you will serve in two tracks during your residency.
- Community Engagement: Engage actively in the life of the church community, participating in events, gatherings, and volunteer opportunities.
- Service Projects: Coordinate and participate in service projects within ECC and the broader Treasure Valley community, promoting a culture of compassion and service.
- Personal Development: Take advantage of opportunities for personal and spiritual growth, including mentorship, training, and leadership development.
- Administrative Tasks: Support administrative tasks, such as event planning, communication, and record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- Passion for serving others and spreading the message of Christ's love.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to upholding the values and mission of ECC.
- To qualify for a Master's in Strategic Ministry from Johnson University, an undergraduate ministry degree is required.
