Summary : The Sr. System Administrator is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, maintenance, and supervision of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, management, vendors, and members to perform their roles efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Install and administer Server OS, IIS, SQL, and VMware servers.
- Install and manage server applications.
- Install new or rebuild existing servers, configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc., in accordance with standards and project / operational requirements.
- Manage Active Directory domain services and access permissions.
- Maintain DHCP, DNS, and File / Print services.
- Administer and maintain mass storage systems (NAS / SAN).
- Administer and manage backup systems and schedules to ensure data restorability.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up.
- Conduct regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions or exposures.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
- Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
- Research, configure, and implement service requirements for new applications.
- Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve technical issues.
- Provide technical assistance for help desk-related requests.
- Manage vendor partnerships related to uptime and support for Eagle's internal infrastructure.
- Serve as the point of contact for vendors related to the network, hardware, and software systems within Eagle's infrastructure.
- Mentor and provide guidance to system administrators on tasks and projects assigned to the IT department. Act as the escalation point for system administrators.

Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or GED required.
Experience : 5-7 years of experience in system administration, preferably within the financial services or credit union sector.
Certifications : Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security , Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate, or VMware Certified Professional.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in managing and maintaining Windows and Linux servers.
Experience with server OS, IIS, SQL, and VMware servers.

Salary Range - $38.50 - 45.00 an hour
