Junior Construction Manager

Job Summary
Eagle Construction Company, Inc. has an immediate opening for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Construction Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This position will provide an excellent opportunity for professional development and hands-on experience in construction project management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the construction industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish
• Support project managers in managing schedules, budgets, and resources
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure project progress and quality
• Maintain and update project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project plans
• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates to senior project managers and clients
• Monitor project timelines to ensure deadlines are met
• Provide administrative support, including organizing project files and tracking materials and equipment
• Help resolve any issues that arise during the construction process
• Some light daily travel to jobsites

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2 years of experience preferred but not necessary
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of project management software (e.g., Procore, Submittal Exchange) is a plus
• Basic understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior work experience in construction or project management with industrial and commercial work is a plus
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations
