Compensation : $33.05-$42.93
Schedule : Full time, generally M-F, 40 hrs per week. Periodic remote work possible with approval.

Number of Employees under Supervision and Titles : No direct or indirect reports.
Job Summary :
The HR Generalist is responsible for running daily HR functions, services, policies and programs related to the organization's workforce. This includes, but is not limited to the employee life cycle stages such as recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits administration, engagement and off boarding. The HR Generalist will also assist with leave administration, paid time off, workers compensation, unemployment, records maintenance and compliance with policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Essential Responsibilities Related to Client Privacy
Encouraged and expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding the District's policies and procedures on patient privacy and any observed practices in violation of that policy to the designated Privacy Officer.

Computer Operations
Proficient computer skills; the ability to type, keyboard, navigate in various programs. Familiarity with MS Office and / or Google Suite as well as strong excel skills. Able to quickly learn new systems, as well as proficient in sourcing information and being resourceful.
Experience using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance productivity.
Licenses or Accreditations
HR Certification : PHR / SPHR, SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP
Language and Communication Skills
Ability to communicate orally with a wide range of individuals, in various and potentially stressful situations. Ability to read and interpret documents such as legal guidelines. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence with a high degree of professionalism and accuracy. Ability to effectively interact and communicate with District staff, the Board, vendors and partners.
Reasoning / Critical Thinking Skills
Ability to critically think, solve problems, and use analytical and strategic planning skills.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
