Job Description
Job Title: Busser/ Food Runner
Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager
FMLA Status: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
Responsible for providing serving members and guests quickly and efficiently. Offers superior customer service and maintains station in a clean and orderly manner throughout shift.
HOURS/DAYS
Hours and days fluctuate accordingly to the needs of the residents, country club, guests, and staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Sets up service station(s) and performs assigned side work (kitchen, water, etc.)
- Warmly acknowledges members and guests by name upon arrival.
- Knowledge of menu items, sauces and accompaniments.
- Polishes all silverware and glassware used for service.
- Brings bread and water upon arrival.
- Cleans, stocks, and maintains the workstations throughout shift.
- Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
- Resets tables in a fast and correct manner.
- Able to follow a floor diagram.
- Able to carry a waiter tray.
- Must be a team player, possess a positive attitude and follow ECGCC core values.
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
- Notify manager anytime a member is not satisfied with their experience.
- Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a manager at any time.
- Removes dirty dishes when course is finished (ladies first from the right side).
- Serves food as needed (ladies first from the left side).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
This position requires customer service and food and beverage. This position requires the ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, speak clearly and concisely and write basic correspondence. Must be able to problem solve when dealing with people and be a team player. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
