We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and solution-oriented Environmental Project Manager to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
The Environmental Project Manager will be responsible for leading, managing, and overseeing environmental projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with internal team to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, within budget, and in compliance with Illinois EPA environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental sciences, project management, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead environmental work for Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST), site remediation program and Phase II Environmental projects throughout Illinois.
- Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets, reimbursements, and ensure projects meet Illinois EPA compliance standards.
- Coordinate with internal team, contractors, consultants, and clients to achieve project goals.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct site assessments and environmental impact assessments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare and present reports*, proposals, and environmental impact statements to clients and regulatory agencies.
- Manage project documentation, ensuring all relevant reports, permits, and certifications are properly maintained.
- Collaborate with business development teams to identify new opportunities and potential clients.
- Stay current with environmental regulations, industry trends, and best practices to provide innovative solutions to clients.

Correction Action Plans
Reimbursement Submittals
Candidate will be responsible for handling multiple projects at a time.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management, including project scheduling and lifecycle management
- Strong negotiation and scope management skills
- Proficient in budgeting and time management
- Change management and team management experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
