What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grill / Beverage Cart position at Eagle Eye Golf and Banquet Center?
Eagle Eye, Hawk Hollow, and Timber Ridge are Mid-Michigan’s premier championship golf courses, banquet, wedding, and conference facilities. We seek responsible grill and beverage cart staff to join our team to provide our guests with outstanding golf and social experiences.
Grill / Beverage Cart Position :
Responsible for preparing and service of food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks to our golf course guests both in the clubhouse grill and on the course via the beverage cart. Grill and beverage cart staff are expected to help us provide an excellent customer experience while maintaining a profession appearance. This is a seasonal, part time, hourly position.
Requirements and Qualifications :
Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests on the course or in the grill.
Ensure guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient, and personalized manner.
Hospitality driven environment, with a focus on providing superior customer service.
Responsible for ensuring the beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds.
Stock and clean beverage cart throughout the day, operate it correctly and safely.
Maintain and exhibit knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
Follow applicable state liquor laws and operating procedures provided by management.
Accountable for all checks and cash transactions, at times of high or low volumes.
Accurately utilize our Point of Sale (POS) system and balances the daily sales report.
Display a positive upbeat attitude in our interaction with guests and co-workers.
Well versed in responding to customer questions regarding our courses.
Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to management.
Incorporate safe work practices throughout the performance of the job.
Must be 17 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift/move 40 pounds and stand on your feet for 8 hours a day.
Must be available to work weekends and evenings.
