What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician, Tank Truck position at Eagle Fabrication and Repair, Inc.?
Eagle Fabrication and Repair, Inc. services tank trucks and is seeking a quality-oriented hardworking person with mechanical aptitude to fill our technician/mechanic position to diagnose, repair, and inspect customer tank trucks and tank trailers. Full-time year-round position.
You will receive training and experience to become a Registered Inspector of Cargo Tank Motor Vehicles.
Typical duties
- Inspecting and testing tanks and piping.
- Maintenance and replacement of piping, hoses and hose reels.
- Repairing and rebuilding pumps and valves.
- Helping other departments when needed.
Qualifications
- Must have mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or GED
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long durations
- Valid driver's license
Employees are expected to provide their own hand tools and steel toe shoes/steel toe boots. Larger tools will be supplied by the company.

M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with 1 hour lunch break
M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with 30 minute lunch break
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
