- Checks master schedule and work orders, establishes priorities, and changes schedule according to projects, work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.
- Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise planning personnel of delays.
- May maintain inventory of equipment, materials, and parts needed to complete production.
- Use computer system to track schedule, work progress, and locate production units.
- Provide employee coaching and development.
- Assists in managing departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to manager.
- Ensures operation of equipment by ensuring proper operating procedures are followed by employees and contractors.
- Provides manufacturing information by analyzing and compiling production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing employees on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources while maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have 1-3 years related experience, preferably in food manufacturing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Experience with GMP’s and HACCP required.
- Experience with Food Safety Audit expectations and requirements preferred
