Experienced Barback/Service Bartender

Eagle Grill & Oyster Bar has an opening for an experienced bar-back/service bartender to join our team!

We are a well established family owned restaurant that has been in business for over 17 years. We are experiencing another record breaking year and looking to add a bar-back / service bartender to the team. We are not open late nights, we close at 8:30 during the week and 9:30 on weekends, and we are closed most major holidays. This position is mainly evening based, shifts being from 4pm until 8:30-9:30pm although occasional daytime shifts may be scheduled. Knowledge of mixed drinks and alcohol in general is required for this position, and previous experience of mixing alcoholic beverages is required.

With tips the position earns well over $20 per hour!

Job tasks for the position are as follows:

• Making mixed drinks for service bar
• Assisting bartender when needed
• Understanding and knowledge of menu & alcohol offerings
• Cleaning glassware for the bar
• Re-stocking of beers, liquors, and wines.
• Occasional greeting of customers and explanation of products
• High level of cleanliness and tidiness of your work area.

Job Requirements:

• weekend & evening availability is required
• Previous barback or bartending experience is required
• Knowledge of common cocktails and general alcohol knowledge is required
• Must be over 18 years of age as you are behind the bar and dealing with alcohol
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Must be fluent in English
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Must work well with others
