Position Summary
Eagle Hill School is seeking highly motivated and reliable Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff who cares deeply about providing a best-in-class dining experience to the Eagle Hill School community.
Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be flexible regarding scheduling, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
- Successful completion of background checks is required
Responsibilities
- Clean Dishes and Utensils: Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans either by hand or using a dishwasher machine.
- Maintain Kitchen Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness of workstations, sinks, and equipment.
- Sort and Organize: Sort, stack, and store clean items in appropriate locations.
- Trash Removal: Empty trash and recycling bins; ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Restock Supplies: Replenish cleaning products and dishwashing supplies as needed.
- Assist Kitchen Staff: Support kitchen staff with cleaning tasks and other duties as assigned.
- Follow Safety Standards: Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Must be able to lift approximately 30-50 pounds
- Bend, kneel, push, pull, and other physical exertion
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Work in a hot and damp environment with moderate to high noise volumes
Schedule
- Year-round, full-time schedule
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, including occasional events
- Extended hours are required on an as-needed basis
