Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent / Housekeeper to join our Eagle House team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience. They welcome visitors, assign rooms according to guests’ preferences, check guests in and out of their rooms, and provide additional information about the hotel and its amenities. They are responsible for booking and managing reservations. They work with guests in-person, online, and over the phone to reserve their rooms, answer any questions they have about the hotel and provide details and recommendations about activities to do in the surrounding area. Front Desk Agents will also collaborate with the housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure all aspects of the hotel meet Eagle House LLC standards and accommodate any special client needs.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with guest services, including booking reservations and providing recommendations for local attractions.
- Reconciliation of room reservations and all hotel sales, ensuring that payments are recorded properly and any changes are updated with OTA’s.
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and its amenities.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any guest issues promptly and professionally.
- Operate phone systems to answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Ensure all amenities are stocked and in good condition.
- Collect dirty linens and towels from guest rooms.
- Wash, dry, fold, and store linens following hotel standards.
- Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notification housekeeping of all checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
- Works closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work..
Skills:
- Experience in hotel management or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multiple tasks.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
