We’re looking for a Corporate Optimization Engineer to join our Team!
Responsibilities
- Be a leader within the Eagle network of companies in safety and ESG
- Provide technical support for all Eagle companies with a focus on cement manufacturing
Desired Work Experience and Specific Skill Set
- Ability to effect change in the process operation
- Experience in troubleshooting cement process issues with successful correction
- Ability to use a large amount of data for troubleshooting issues
- High level of understanding about cement milling and pyro process
- High level of understanding of cement quality, from limestone to cement
- Ability to lead a plant in process audits and perform an analysis from the results
- Ability to lead and perform process inspection and report generation of findings
- Mentoring less experienced plant engineers
- Management of plant fuels, power and/or raw materials
- Experience managing fuel and raw material trials, from sourcing to completion of the trials
- Experience in performing root cause analysis
- Schedule development and management
- Capital cost estimating (Engineering, Equipment and Construction)
- Knowledge of typical cement plant emission limits and control devices
- Knowledge of typical cement plant control strategy from PID to SPC with experience in advance controllers and loop tuning
- Ability to in work multi-functional groups
- Successfully commissioning of a project to improve efficiency of a cement operation.
- Knowledge with alternative fuels and raw materials
- Ability to handle multiply issues in different areas at once
- Ability to support other engineering or project groups
- Demonstrated communication skills. (Status reporting, meeting facilitating, action lists, etc.)
- Highly organized and self-directed
Desired Software Knowledge and Education
Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
