DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Directs all aspects of General Marketing operations, Transportation Department, and Retail Department operations.
2. Creates yearly Marketing Strategic Plan for entire property.
3. Ensures marketing support for entire property.
4. Selects, trains, evaluates, and supervises all department management and Community Liaison Coordinator.
5. Develop and manage marketing and communications programs, which will increase the revenue of Eagle Mountain Casino, and enhance the growth of its guest base within the gaming industry.
6. Manage the brand and development of all advertising, including reviewing and approving quarterly media buys.
7. Create campaigns to ensure promotion of all property products and services.
8. Coordinates with Casino Marketing Department on all strategic plans, promotions, and events.
9. Develop and approve the department marketing budget; monitor expenses monthly to meet forecasts.
10. Develop policies and procedures for the General Marketing Department.
11. Review and analyze reports to ensure performance of various programs.
12. Plan and manage special events on property including production, sales, reporting scheduling, and hospitality.
13. Oversee the planning and communication of General Marketing Department events.
14. Attend community events as company representative and build local relations.
15. Manage and coordinate all public relations and media aspects of Eagle Mountain Casino.
16. Assist the Donation Committee in selection, tracking of donations, and sponsorships; facilitate the communications to the requesting organizations.
17. Coordinate with Assistant General Manager when dealing with the media regarding any community relations issues.
18. Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of property records and reports.
19. Supervise, recruit, and terminate all General Marketing Department Team Members.
20. Must attend and be certified in all applicable trainings required.
21. All other departmental duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred, plus five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory role in a marketing department, or a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in marketing or related field with progressive four (4) years’ supervisory experience in a marketing department.
2. Minimum age requirement is twenty-one (21).
3. Must have experience in hospitality, tourism, or entertainment marketing experience.
4. Must have strong guest service, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
5. Must have demonstrated writing experience.
6. Maintain a professional appearance.
7. Willing to train and attend trainings.
8. Computer literate in Windows, Excel and Word.
9. Must have a valid driver’s license, and be insurable through the casino’s insurance carrier.
10. Must able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
1. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit.
2. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
3. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
4. Environment is administrative setting with occasional visits to the casino floor.
5. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
6. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
7. Must be able to travel.
8. Noise level is normally an office setting, and moderate to high when on casino floor.
9. Exposed to cigarette smoke, ringing bells, and flashing lights when on the casino floor.
10. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

SUPERVISES: General Marketing Manager, Transportation Manager, Retail Manager, and Community Liaison Coordinator
HOURS: The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary
SALARY: $38.85/hr. / weekly pay / non-overtime eligible
