Job Summary
The primary function of this role is to protect the assets and personnel of Eagle Mountain International Church/Kenneth Copeland Ministries. This includes 24-hour patrols of our 1,500-acre estate, which comprises executive offices, warehouses, child care facilities, an airport, television and music production studios, and a parsonage.
Main Responsibilities
- Protect stipulated people and locations from harassment, physical attack, vandalism, and other forms of abusive or unauthorized treatment.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding job duties and information related to ministry processes, principals, family, residence, property, visitors, and staff.
- Comport oneself in a manner that reflects well on Kenneth Copeland Ministries and Eagle Mountain International Church.
- Complete and submit incident reports after noteworthy developments.
- Evaluate and ensure that security equipment and measures are suitable and always remain in excellent working condition.
- Inspect and patrol premises regularly.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and report suspicious behavior.
- BUILD EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH KCM/EMIC STAKEHOLDERS, STAFF, AND VISITORS.
- REPORT SAFETY CONCERNS, SECURITY BREACHES, AND UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCES BOTH VERBALLY AND IN WRITING VIA LOG ENTRIES.
- Handle security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
- Meet and continue to meet any applicable state licensing and permit requirements for armed security officers and specific protective device and weapons qualifications.
- Maintain awareness and familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform vehicle and/or foot patrol of KCM property, including fixed post assignments.
- Inspect and report the conditions of buildings, equipment, airport area, and general wellbeing of KCM property.
- Respond to security and fire alarms.
- Perform building checks to ensure doors are locked, windows closed, and lights/equipment turned off or on as appropriate.
- Provide security for special events.
- Maintain security department vehicles and equipment to specified standards.
- Prepare detailed written and oral reports of daily patrol activities.
- Administer basic first aid and CPR, as needed.
- Assist other ministry departments as required.
- Actively and successfully participate in security training programs.
- Perform radio dispatcher duties.
- Monitors intrusion and fire alarm systems.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-4 years EMIC Security experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Intermediate defensive tactics proficiency.
- Police handgun and long gun skills proficiency.
- Tactical emergency casualty care certification.
- Dispatch skills proficiency.
- Patrol skills proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Microsoft Word familiarity desired.
- Able to work all shifts and some holidays.
- Able to work well in stress situations.
- Able to qualify and maintain a license as a commissioned security officer with the TCPS.
- Able to be 21 years of age.

Typical Physical Demands
- Able to stand for a minimum of eight hours per day.
- Able to sit at a computer for a minimum of eight hours per day.

- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
- Able to pull, push, stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, move, or carry equipment.
- Able to pass physical assessment, which consists of the following: mile run less than 9 minutes, 40 pushups in a minute or less, 35 sit ups in a minute or less, 4 pull ups done consecutively.

Working Conditions
