The Flex Officer will be responsible for various security tasks, including monitoring premises, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. Ideal candidates will possess strong conflict management skills and have experience in loss prevention or law enforcement.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Utilize CCTV systems to observe activities and identify potential security threats.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to prevent unauthorized access.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing facility rules and regulations.
- Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred.
- Experience with surveillance systems (CCTV) is highly desirable.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
