Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure safety.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the protection of assets.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Maintain detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when required, providing necessary information and support.
- Conduct first aid and CPR as needed, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
- Train staff on security protocols and emergency procedures to enhance overall safety awareness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Military background or training is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various situations.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and law enforcement.
