What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recovery Advocate position at Eagle Overlook Recovery for Adolescents?
- Provides direct care to the adolescent in recovery
- Maintains safety in the milieu using prevention and de escalation techniques and provides assistance in a crisis situation
- Ensures patient status and progress is documented in the EMR per program guidelines. Ensures appropriate charting is completed by the end of each shift
- Communicates changes in client behavior to the clinical team
- Provides structure and guidance while promoting life-skills development
- Attends community experiential trips with the clients
- Facilitates life-skills groups daily, transports clients to local AA/NA meetings
Must be a High School graduate and posses a Georgia State Driver's License. Be willing to work extra shifts as needed. Must be able to work some weekend hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
