Essential Job Functions:
- Must have basic business office skills, including typing and filing.
- Obtain insurance authorization and eligibility.
- Schedule patient's appointments.
- Receive payments from patients.
- Communicates and provides reports to therapist and senior management.
- Responsible for making sure transportation and patient visits are accurate.
- Excellent customer service skills with being pleasant to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors; in person and on the telephone.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Good organization and ability to multi-task.
Basic Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience:
- A minimum, one (1) year experience as a receptionist preferred.
- Previous work in a physical therapy/medical office preferred.
- Bi-lingual Spanish speaker preferred.
Location: Baltimore
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
