Position Details:
Title:  Bus Monitor (3.75 hours per day)
Placement (location):  Transportation, Eagle Point, OR
Supervisor: Principal or designee
Contract Days: 179 days per year * pro-rated based on start date
Salary Range: $15.45 to $21.99 per hour, based on previous experience
Closing Date: Screening to begin immediately, open until filled. 
 
Description:
The Monitor will supervise and assist with students in school bus settings.  This position will support/assist other District employees in a variety of functions to ensure student safety.
 
General Expectations:

• Be at designated areas, ready to supervise, and stay until all students are off the playground and/or bus 
• Understand and relate to children with special needs
• Follow District, School, Transportation Handbooks and policies
• Try to anticipate problem situations and student needs 
• Inform teachers and administrators of problems and accidents
