Position Details:
Title:  Instructional Assistant -Special Education (MVP), Full time
Placement (location):  Table Rock Elementary School, White City, OR
Supervisor: Principal or designee
Contract Days:  179 days per year, 7 hours per day
Salary Range: $18.50 to $26.30 per hour depending upon verified, previous full time experience in similar position
Closing Date: Screening to begin immediately, open until filled
 
Description:
Special Education Instructional Assistants are responsible for providing, under the guidance and direction of a classroom teacher, instruction and tutoring on various subjects to students with emotional, physical, behavioral or mental disabilities in assigned special education programs. Assists in monitoring students, maintaining a clean and orderly learning environment to ensure the health and safety of students; assists in cleaning and straightening the classroom; assists with student personal hygiene and grooming needs including toileting, eating, changing diapers and clothes in the event of accidents. Table Rock Elementary School is located in White City, Oregon.
