Eagle Point School District 9 (EPSD9) is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Language Arts Teacher
to join the team at Eagle Point Middle School. This is a key instructional position that supports students in developing the reading, writing,
and critical thinking skills they need to succeed in academics and beyond.

About the Role
The Language Arts Teacher at Eagle Point Middle School will design and deliver engaging instruction aligned with
Oregon state standards in reading, writing, and language. This role involves developing lessons that foster a love for literature, strong communication skills,
and critical analysis while differentiating instruction to meet a range of student needs.
In this role, the teacher is responsible for establishing clear learning objectives, assessing student progress using both formative
and summative tools, and collaborating with colleagues and support staff to ensure the success of all learners. The teacher will maintain a classroom environment
that supports high expectations, inclusion, and respect, while incorporating technology and current best practices into daily instruction.
Who We’re Looking For
EPSD9 is looking for a teacher who holds a current Oregon Teaching License with an appropriate endorsement in
English Language Arts and meets the requirements to be designated as Highly Qualified by the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC).
The ideal candidate brings strong content knowledge, creativity in lesson design, and a passion for working with middle school students.
Candidates should demonstrate strong classroom management skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with peers,
families, and administrators. Familiarity with analyzing student data to inform instruction and experience working with diverse learners is highly valued.
The successful candidate will also exhibit professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to supporting student success through literacy.

Position Title: Language Arts Teacher
Placement: Eagle Point Middle School, Eagle Point, OR
Supervisor: Principal or designee
Contract Days: 193/194 days/8 hr per day to begin August 21, 2025
Salary Range: $46,548 - $90,846 per year plus a Master's Stipend of $2,327.
Salary placement will depend upon verified full-time experience and Master's level credits.
