Eagle Point School District 9 (EPSD9) is seeking a passionate and energetic Physical Education Teacher to join the team at Eagle Point High School. This position requires an
Oregon Teaching license with an endorsement in Physical Education or the ability to obtain same license prior to the start date. Actual classes taught will be decided based on specific
areas of expertise as well as areas of need. Opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities or athletics as a coach / advisor may also be considered. Applicants who are
bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply.

The ideal applicant will have demonstrated content knowledge and pedagogic skill relative to strength and conditioning. A desire to collaborate with other educators, as well as
the ability to maintain and adapt existing curricula to meet the ever changing needs of our students is required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using a variety of pedagogical
and assessment tools, have a passion for educating ALL STUDENTS, and a willingness to be involved in the school community beyond the classroom setting.

EPSD9 is looking for a dedicated educator who holds a current Oregon Teaching License with appropriate endorsements
for Physical Education. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about promoting physical health and social-emotional
growth through movement and play.
Candidates should be strong communicators, skilled at building relationships with students, staff, and families, and committed to fostering a
positive and respectful learning environment. A successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to design engaging lessons, implement
effective classroom management strategies, and contribute to the broader school community.

Salary placement will be based on the EPSD9 licensed salary schedule and previous experience.

Contract Days: 193/194 days/8 hr per day to begin August 21, 2025
Salary Range: $46,548 - $90,846 per year plus a Master's Stipend of $2,327.
Salary placement will depend upon verified full-time experience and Master's level credits.
