About the Role
This position requires an Oregon Special Education Generalist license or an equivalent credential, or the ability to obtain the appropriate licensure prior to the start date.
This role requires a commitment to professional growth, adherence to district policies, and engagement in school-wide activities beyond the classroom.
The position involves collaboration with school administrators, staff, students, and families to create an inclusive educational environment where all students can thrive.

Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in specifically designed instruction for students with disabilities, including reading, mathematics, behavior, social skills, and life skills.

The ability to adapt and implement curriculum to meet the diverse and evolving needs of students is a key component of this role.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering individualized instruction, participating in multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal special education regulations.
The teacher will provide leadership in developing and maintaining a continuum of special education services,
assist general education teachers in curriculum adaptation, and support students in achieving their academic and behavioral goals.

Contract Days: 193/194 days to begin August 2025
Salary Range: No less than $46,548 - $90,846 plus master's stipend of $2,327 (depending upon approved previous experience and graduate level credits).
Special Education Teachers receive a Federal Compliance Stipend of $3,000 each year
