Job Description:
Eagle Point Nursing & Rehabilitation seeks Part-Time Activity Assistant for 1st and 2nd shifts and alternating weekends. Would prefer experience in Long Term Care or Senior Living, but not required. Must also pass a complete background check.This is a part-time position with hours during the week and every other weekend. $15.00 per hour. Responsibilities:
- The Activity Assistant will be responsible for providing interactive and enjoyable activities for our residents
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing programs and events
- Play games and make crafts with mobile residents
- Visit bed residents on a one-to-one basis
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Positive, energetic and engaging demeanor
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
- High level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Two (2) years of Long-Term Care experience preferred
