What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lobby Attendant 3rd Shift FULL TIME position at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa?
PURPOSE AND PERFORMANCE GOALS
Assures the public areas of the Resort exceed facility standards for cleanliness and orderliness, and that the Lobby Attendant exceeds facility standards for friendliness and helpfulness to the guest.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Works as a member of the housekeeping team maintaining the public areas, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in all lobby, restrooms, hallways, and general front of the Resort. Sweeps and washes floors, vacuums and spot clean carpet, washes walls, dusts furniture and fixtures and cleans ashtrays.
- Removes trash from areas and transfers to dumpster.
- Removes cobwebs, spot cleans windows, cleans wall light fixtures and ceiling vents.
- Performs general cleaning tasks using standard Resort cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
- Cleans up unexpected spills and executes guests' special requests.
- Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Attends staff meetings.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
No education required. At least 6 months housekeeping experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors and fellow associates.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be able to calculate amounts and apply basic addition, subtraction division and multiplication.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to make appropriate judgments regarding the process of cleaning public areas.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Practice written safety standards and rules at all times. Must be able to push/pull/lift up to and including 50 pounds. Must have the ability to clean public areas effectively. Job frequently requires reaching, standing, walking, and crouching.
HOURS
Due to the business demands of the hospitality industry, and the fact that the Resort provides guest services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, any employee may be required to work rotating shifts, including weekends, night shifts, and/or overtime. Also, depending on business demands, hours may be reduced at any time.
PAY SCALE
Starting at $16.00 p/hr.
