Automotive Tire and Lube Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Changing oil, lubricating chassis, mount and balance tires
• Inspect and test vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made
• Other automotive repairs as necessary
• Applicants should have the desire to increase their skills and abilities, towards a certified line tech position

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

As an Automotive Tire and Lube Technician you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Tire and Lube Technician

• Dealership experience is a plus
• Domestic and Import Experience
• High school diploma / Industry certification equivalent required
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Technician must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools
• Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
