What are the responsibilities and job description for the AR Specialist - Large Format position at Eagle Rock Distributing Company?
Eagle Rock Distributing Company is looking to add a highly motivated, detailed, and self-driven individual with experience in collections and account receivables. This position will focus on the collections of chain AR (large format retailers) and claim processes. Candidates should have experience working with an average of $15 million in receivables.
Job type: Full-time, temp to perm
Pay range: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Days: Monday thru Friday
Work setting: In office
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Collection of past due invoices will be a top priority.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and update account information as needed.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and mail to address billing inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with other internal departments to resolve any issues related to accounts receivable.
- Support other accounting and finance team members, pricing team, and brand managers.
- Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement
Experience:
- 3 - 5 years experience in accounts receivable with emphasis on high volume corporate collections.
- Knowledge of billing and collections procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and goal oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
