About the Opportunity
Getting our products from the warehouse and to our customers safely and efficiently is key to our business. Route Assistants play an important role in this by assisting our drivers in ensuring that our products make it off of our trucks and into accounts. They demonstrate excellent customer service and take great care to avoid damage to product.
Specific job duties include:
- Calling on accounts with the Driver Salesman as scheduled.
- Managing, rotating, and maintaining a neat backroom/cooler area.
- Cleaning shelving, rotates products
- Assisting in the merchandising and stocking of all coolers.
- Learning and following code dates procedures and guidelines.
- Working with Driver Salesman or Extra Driver Salesman to ensure safe working environment.
- Helping secure any equipment and tools.
- Maintaining security of route truck, cab, and making sure bay doors or lift gates are locked.
Route Assistants work hard and play hard; and, to do this safely, it's important that they be able to meet the physical demands of the position, which include:
- Ability to reach, pull, twist, bend, stoop to move product
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Occasionally requires the ability to lift over 70 lbs.
- Must be capable of pushing or pulling loaded carts (weighing approximately 300 lbs).
- Can work safely year-round in varying weather conditions

The history of Eagle Rock Distributing Company goes all the way back the Prohibition Era, selling non-alcoholic beer and Canada Dry Ginger Ale. Quite a bit has changed since then and today we distribute a wide-array of premium and craft beers, cider, import beers, wines, spirits, as well as non-alcoholic beverages and local products out of our locations in Georgia and Colorado. Compensation, Benefits and Application Window
Compensation range: $19.00 per hour
(Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level)
