Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Officer will be expected to respond to incidents, monitor CCTV systems, and enforce safety protocols while providing excellent customer service. POTENTIAL EMPLOYEE MUST BE READY FOR SAME DAY INTERVIEW. POTENTIAL EMPLOYEE MUST HAVE A DRIVERS LICENSE AND BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST! Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and take appropriate action.
- Manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security measures.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed; maintain certification.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment (CCTV).
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- First Aid and CPR certification is required; additional training is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for interacting with diverse groups of people.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
