Eagle Springs Golf Club seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Golf Course Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary
This is a key position responsible for maintaining the golf course and club grounds. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of turf management, equipment operation, and landscaping practices.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintains greens, fairways, roughs, bunkers, clubhouse areas through mowing, watering, raking, and trimming.
- Safely operates hand tools, power tools, and equipment to perform tasks such as sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler & drainage installation.
- Operates golf course vehicles and light-powered equipment, including mowers and utility vehicles.
- Cares for established trees and paths by mulching, weeding, trimming, or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.
- Uses hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hand saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes in task performance.
- Prunes or trims trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
- Gathers and removes litter, trash, and other debris on property.
- Mixes and sprays or spreads fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders under supervision.
- Provides proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, or other grounds features.
- Adheres to company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Completes other tasks/duties assigned by management.
