Job Summary:
The Physician Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier physicians to join our healthcare organization. This position collaborates with the Operations team, Licensing and Credentialing, Marketing, Business Development, and Physician Leadership to ensure we are meeting the staffing needs of our clients across multiple specialties.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Partners with functional managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruitment forecast and strategies, and identify challenges in attracting physicians to underserved specialties, regions, or new business ventures.
· Develops and maintains a network of qualified physician candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, industry events, and physician organizations.
· Conducts thorough candidate screenings to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
· Presents qualified candidates to physician leadership teams for clinical interview. Supports physician leadership in facilitating candidate processing once approved for contracting.
· Comfortable speaking to basic elements of provider agreements and provider compensation.
· Records and tracks the recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to first shift worked to ensure timely processing and a positive candidate experience. Provides regular updates to leadership on progress and challenges.
· Coordinates and organizes recruitment events, job fairs, and outreach programs to attract top physician talent.
· Stays current with industry trends and best practices in physician recruitment, retention, and physician compensation.
· Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks as needed.
Required Minimal Skills:
· In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry, physician licensing requirements and medical staff credentialing processes.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal.
· Ability to build relationships with physician candidates and cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
· Strong follow-through and high attention to detail required, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
· Maintains confidentiality and manages sensitive information with discretion.
· Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and/or other recruitment software.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree or other relevant experience
· 2 years of proven experience in physician recruitment and retention
· Physician Recruiter Certification- preferred (with a nationally recognized provider)
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
· Occasional travel to trade shows; standing for prolonged periods for exhibiting.
