Eagle Transport operates terminals across the eastern United States and specializes in the transportation of fuel, chemicals, and dry bulk products. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dedicated Shuttle Driver to join our Service Center and ensure the safe and efficient movement of equipment and parts throughout the company footprint.

The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and securing various types of equipment, including new units, salvaged units, and parts. This position requires attention to detail, a focus on safety, and the ability to work in a range of weather conditions. The ideal candidate will also conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the equipment is in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

· Safely load, unload, and securing equipment (new units, salvaged units, or parts) for transport across the company’s footprint.

· Ability to work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.) while performing the job duties.

· Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of each vehicle and piece of equipment moved during the shift.

· Document any damages or needed repairs to equipment, ensuring it is safe and ready for transport

Requirements

· Must be at least 23 years of age.

· Must hold a valid Class A CDL with Tanker (N) and Hazmat (H) endorsements (Combination X).

· Minimum of 1 year of Class A driving experience with a tractor-trailer in the past 7 years.

· No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years, or 4 moving violations in the past 7 years.

· No DUI/DWI/OUI convictions within the past 10 years.

No chargeable DOT-recordable accidents while operating a commercial vehicle in the past 3 years.

· Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks, such as climbing in and out of the tractor cab and managing heavy equipment.

· Low-boy experience preferred
