Eagle Valley Children’s Home is a residential facility located in Carson City. We provide quality care and services to the individuals special needs. Our Caregivers/ Direct Care Trainers (DCTs) provide hands-on care and support to our amazing clients, helping them with their daily needs and activities.

COMPENSATION:
- A $250 referral bonus for each person you refer to us (restrictions apply)
- A competitive salary of $18.13/hr to start and 5% pay raise for successfully passing your introductory period
OPEN POSITION:
- Shift Shift (1:00pm - 9:00pm/10:00pm)
As a DCT, you will:
- Assist clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and assisting with meals
- Engage clients with social and recreational activities
- Implement individual goals and therapeutic interventions
- Use large position equipment, such as prone standing tables, gait trainers, and mobile prone standers
- Work collaboratively with our nursing department and other staff
- Have fun with the clients and your co-workers
To be a DCT, you need:
- No experience needed, just a willingness to learn - we provide lots of training and on-going training
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- The ability to lift and carry 65 lbs
- Weekend/holiday availability - unless days off are scheduled on those days
- The ability to pass a background check and drug screen, including marijuana
- The willingness to get the flu shot during the season
- We would like to have some individuals who are at least 21 years of age with a valid Nevada drivers license for at least 3 years in good standing. This would enable you to drive our company vehicles.
