Summary
As the Medical Director at Eagle Valley Children's Home, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our clients. This position is essential in advancing our mission of supporting individuals with developmental disabilities while fostering a compassionate and respectful environment. We are looking for no more than 10 hours per month to help support our clients and organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement healthcare policies that align with organizational goals.
- Manage utilization management processes to optimize patient care and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for residents.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Provide leadership and supervision to clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence in care delivery.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and implement improvements based on data analysis.
- Engage with families and caregivers to support their needs and enhance overall service delivery.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Proven experience in healthcare management, preferably within a non-profit or community-focused setting.
- Strong understanding of utilization management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations as they pertain to healthcare services is beneficial.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
