Welcome to Core Transit, Eagle County's exciting new public transportation organization! We're the vibrant, cool-looking buses you've seen around town, providing mostly free transportation services to our community from Dotsero to Vail.
We are seeking a motivated Transit Scheduler / Planner I to manage the seasonal schedule development process, including planning, scheduling, and ensuring the accuracy of GTFS data. This position focuses on creating efficient, practical schedules that meet customer and bus operator needs, while coordinating with regional partners to improve service and transfers. The role also supports transportation planning, analysis, and outreach efforts, with an emphasis on optimizing the regional transit network and enhancing system efficiency.

Hiring Range :
Scheduler / Planner I : $59,052 - $70,862. The maximum pay for this position is $82,673?
Scheduler / Planner II : $64,957 - $77,949. The maximum pay for this position is $90,940

About the position : Transit Scheduler / Planner I
The Scheduler / Planner has primary responsibility for the seasonal schedule development process, including planning, scheduling, run-cutting, and ensuring accuracy of GTFS data. Prioritizes the creation of efficient, practical, and livable schedules that meet the needs of both customers and bus operators. Coordinates with regional partners to improve service and timing of system-to-system transfers. Assists with other transportation planning, implementation, analysis and outreach efforts, with a special focus on improving transit system efficiency, optimization of the regional network, and meeting community needs.
