What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optician position at Eagle Vision & Eye Clinic, PC?
At Eagle Vision and Eye Clinic we strive to provide excellent patient care, and create an experience patients appreciate. We have a rapidly growing office that provides new opportunity and growth for everyone. We are looking to add an optician to our team that has some experience and enjoys providing patients the opportunity to walk out seeing well and in fashion.
The ideal candidate would be able to contribute their expertise in customer service, knowledge of our products and act as a professional in any situation that arises. Our office strives to provide opportunity for each individual and offer opportunity for growth. We define growth by allowing for cross-training in multiple decisions, and growing on the professional ladder.
Responsibilities include:
· Greeting patients with a friendly smile and positive attitude
· Assist patients in frame styling
· Understanding insurance and how it applies to glasses orders
· Order, adjust, and verify all glasses.
· Understanding the products we offer and communicate them effectively to patients
· Inputting orders into Crystal Practice Management

Work schedule Monday-Friday:
- Additional requirements: We are open until 6pm two nights a week- we require employees to work until 6pm one of those nights.
- We are open on Saturdays from 8:00am until 12:00 pm. We require no more than 2 Saturdays per month.
