What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Assistant position at Eagle Vision & Eye Clinic?
At Eagle Vision and Eye Clinic we strive to provide excellent patient care, and create an experience patients appreciate. We have a rapidly growing office that provides new opportunity and growth for everyone. We are looking to add an assistant to our team that has some experience and enjoys interacting with patients and providing excellent care throughout their time in the office.
As our office continues to grow, we look forward to bringing our team members along with us. The ideal candidate does not need to have previous technician experience, but instead the desire to learn. Our office offers opportunities for all employees to cross-train and gain additional knowledge. We offer education opportunities, and hands on training that will facilitate growth for all employees.
Responsibilities include:
· Greeting patients with a friendly smile and positive attitude
· Understanding insurance
· Perform pretesting
· Report visual acuities
· Install eye drops
· Triage patients over the phone and in person
· Assist doctors
· Order contacts
· Train patients on hard and soft contact lens wear
· Understanding the products we offer and communicate them effectively to patients
· Operate in Crystal Practice Management

Helpful but not required:
· Knowledge of equipment used is helpful but not necessary as we are willing to train the right candidate. (This includes Non-Contact Tonometer, Auto Refractor, FDT, Optomap Retinal Imaging, Topographer, and more).
· Basic eye anatomy and terminology
Work schedule Monday-Friday, 1 late evening and no more than 2 Saturdays in a month.
