What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP Weekend Evening Shifts position at Eagles Wing Inc?
Direct care for adults in foster care settings. Part time shifts available. Evenings (roughly 3pm-10pm), on the weekends. Paid training provided.
As a direct care staff you will work with individuals who can have challenging behaviors. These behaviors can include but are not limited to, verbal/physical aggression, property destruction, self-injurious behavior, suicidal ideations/attempts and elopement. Some individual need help with bathing, toileting, changing and eating.
There are opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate caregiving to residents in a group home setting during evening shifts.
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration and reminders.
- Observe and report changes in residents' health or behavior
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
