Overnight shifts available. 10/11pm-7am. Paid training provided. Opportunities for advancement. Annual date of hire bonus. Must be 21 years of age or older
As a direct care staff you may work with individuals who have challenging behaviors. These behaviors can include but are not limited to, verbal/physical aggression, property destruction, self-injurious behavior, suicidal ideations/attempts and elopement. Some individual need help with bathing, toileting, changing and eating.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate caregiving to residents in a group home setting during evening shifts.
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration and reminders.
- Observe and report changes in residents' health or behavior
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Job Type: Part-time
