EagleView, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring an Aviation Maintenance Technician Team Lead (AMTTL) for our team. The AMTTL will support large-scale aerial survey operations. Primary responsibilities will include interfacing with other AMTs, establishing best practices for aircraft and camera system maintenance, and performing signoffs for camera maintenance and installations in accordance with FAA regulations. The candidate will also be responsible for inspections, repairs, modifications, periodic maintenance, and service of aircraft within the limits of the employee’s Federal Aviation Association (FAA) Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) certificate with respect to Part 91 operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of AMTs or individually work, when necessary, to maintain a fleet of piston engine aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR Part 91 operations
- Work with or lead a team of AMTs, or individually, when necessary, to repair aircraft accessory parts
- Lead or Perform tasks associated with Annual inspections, routine periodic inspections and maintenance, and non-routine inspections and maintenance of PFA aircraft
- Troubleshoot and assess cause and effect of discrepancies, abnormalities, or safety concerns and report findings to the facility AMT Lead. Complete appropriate reports and documentation as required
- Remove and install camera equipment per EV, PFA, and FAA guidelines and requirements
- Complete all documentation of aircraft work in accordance with PFA, EV, and FAA Policies and Standards
- Travel to off-site facilities when necessary to perform maintenance on aircraft
- Assist with inventory and shipping as necessary
- Perform tasks to maintain hangar and facilities
- Perform all tasks to a high standard of safety that meets or exceeds all PFA, FAA, and OSHA requirements
- Successfully complete all required compliance training.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
- More than 5 years’ experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience leading teams
- Valid Driver’s license
- High school diploma
PREFERRED
- Valid FAA IA certificate
- Experience leading teams working on fixed-wing single and multi-engine piston aircraft
- Experienced with 14 CFR Part 91, Part 43, and Part 65, subpart D regulations
- Experienced with reading and understanding maintenance manuals, Illustrated Parts catalogs (IPCs), service instructions, service bulletins, and Airworthiness directives (ADs) in both paper print and electronic format
- Proficient written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient technical and analytical troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated strong work ethic
- Ability to prioritize and adapt quickly
- Well-organized, dependable, and self-sufficient
- Proficient with sheet metal fabrication and repair
- FAA Private Pilot certificate
