Description:
Eagleville Hospital is seeking a FT Certified Recovery Specialist. This position is responsible for providing peer support services. This will be done by serving as a consumer advocate, providing information and support for consumers, and assisting consumers in regaining control over their lives through the recovery process. The Certified Recovery Specialist will utilize his/her own personal experiences as part of engaging with and assisting consumers.
Requirements:
· Candidates for the Recovery Specialist position must have a minimum of a high school diploma
· Must be a Certified Recovery Specialist or Certified Peer Specialist
· WRAP Certification preferred
· Experience in psychiatric unit or facility a plus but not necessary
· Must have ability to communicate well, both orally and written, and ability to work within a team structure
