Description :
Plans, prepares, coordinates and communicates product change points and new product start-up. Supports internally the company strategy as it relates to departmental needs to fulfill customer objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Track, monitor, document, distributes all communication relating to product change points and new programs at pre-production and development stages.
- Track, monitor, document, distributes all communication relating to new injection molds, auxiliary equipment, check fixtures, gauges, plating racks, paint jigs, and sub-assembly equipment.
- Track, monitor, document, distributes all communication relating to new or revised returnable and / or expendable packaging for new programs.
- Assist in design, sourcing and procurement of returnable and expendable packaging for mass production, service and back-up packaging.
- Establish and maintain the Eakas catalog for expendable packaging.
- Coordinate all communication of timing and events by Eakas with or through SRJ utilizing master schedules and timelines, distributed internally.
- Coordinate and update new program schedules with engineering, sales and production control and submit to appropriate customer contact.
- Provide weekly updates of plans and accomplishments to Product Development Supv / Mgr or designee.
- Develop, establish, create, and maintain departmental guidance and support by working with Eakas manufacturing departments.
- Any additional help and / or assistance as required.
