We are seeking an Attorney to join our legal team.

After 25 years of practice, David is looking for an associate excited to learn and grow and add to our team. REQUIRED :
1) Licensed attorney in the state of Texas without any disciplinary history
2) Passion and strong interest in family law and helping other people
3) Open mind and creative spirit
4) We will give preference to candidates with prior family law or litigation experience, but not required

About our firm :
Our primary office location is in Rockwall where David has practiced over 25 years with extensive relationships in the community. This position expects you will be in the Rockwall office throughout the week. We also have an office in Allen, Texas. We represent clients across north Texas in Rockwall, Collin, Kaufman, Hunt and Dallas counties. We are looking for someone that wants to join the firm to learn to practice our way that means training and shadowing for a while and work together with the team to serve our clients. The right candidate must be able to work independently and grow and expand with learned experiences. Family law in inherently challenging and broad ranging and we want a candidate with an insatiable curiosity who will continue to expand their knowledge and application of all their experiences to improve our representation.

Responsibilities (standard lawyer stuff)
Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and contracts.
Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
Provide legal advice to clients.
Assist in the preparation for trials and hearings by organizing evidence and developing case strategies.
Maintain accurate records of all legal proceedings and communications.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients.
Qualifications
Licensed attorney Texas.
Strong writing skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex legal concepts.
Proven ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in legal documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills for client interactions and teamwork within the law office.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all legal matters.
